About Cadence
Cadence has recently come in to rescue and is settling well in to her foster home. There was not a lot of information available about Cadence's history but we are slowly piecing together some of her background and this is allowing us to understand her behaviour.
At some point in her past Cadence was attacked by 3 large dogs. Whilst she bears no physical scars, she is scared around other dogs, quite understandably. She is currently playing with one of the foster family's larger dog's but it took her a few days to let her guard down and learn she was safe to enjoy his company. We would not recommend Cadence be in a home with a small dog or small children as she gets frightened very easily.
We are looking for a single person or couple who may be retired or home more often than not as this little girl is desperate for companionship with her human. She needs to develop a bond with her person so that she knows she is safe so we are hoping to find her a new home where she can be given patience to learn about life in a loving environment.
Cadence is house trained and walks well on a lead and harness. She has good recall and is generally a very happy little girl. All of Cadence's vet work is completed including vaccinations, desexing, worming and parvo and heartworm testing (both negative).
If you could provide the perfect type of environment for this little girl to give her a chance, please consider sending us an application today.
