About Teddy
Teddy's a Kelpie x Staghound mix with legs for days and feelings to match! This lanky lad might look ready to sprint across the savannah, but beneath those athletic limbs lies a sensitive soul who's still finding his confidence.
Teddy loves a good game of ball, cuddles on his terms, and plenty of adventures with his humans. He would need access to a large secure yard to safely stretch those long legs. Teddy would thrive with a family who are committed to ongoing training and helping him manage his generalised anxiety through routine, enrichment, and love.
Because of his size and strength, Teddy's new family will need to be comfortable managing a big, enthusiastic dog. He may be able to share his home with a calm older role-model dog, pending a successful meet-and-greet.
If you've got room in your heart (and home) for a sweet, soulful boy with marathon legs and puppy enthusiasm, Teddy's ready to stretch out and love you forever.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
