About Big T
This grey powerhouse is not your average feline-he's got the heart of a lion and the presence of a leader. Big T is the type of cat who knows what he wants and isn't afraid to go after it. But don't let his tough exterior fool you, this cat will be your loyal sidekick for life.
Big T may act like he runs the show, and honestly, he does-but he's also a big softie when it comes to receiving affection. He enjoys lounging on his favorite spots, keeping a watchful eye over his domain, and showing his love with gentle headbutts and the occasional purr. He's a confident, self-assured cat who loves his independence but will always have your back when you need him.

Ready to bring some A-Team style into your home? Don't wait-Big T is ready to join your family. He's the cat that will have your back every time, and he'll make sure you're never bored!
Please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au to book a meet and greet with Big-T. Due to the high volume of emails received, Inquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
