About Charlie SUK013370 & Lola SUK013369
Meet Charlie and Lola, an adorable brother-sister duo who are looking for a quiet and loving home where they can continue to grow and blossom. These beautiful teenagers are inseparable and find solace in each other's company. They adore playtime together and lean on each other for courage in new and unfamiliar situations.
Despite being a little on the timid side, both Charlie and Lola possess gentle and sweet demeanours. They are on a journey of learning that humans can be trusted and loved, making gradual progress every day. Watching them gain confidence is a rewarding experience that will touch your heart as they slowly open up and reveal their unique personalities.
Charlie and Lola would thrive in a peaceful environment—a quiet haven where they can continue to explore the world at their own pace and build trust with their human companions. With patience, love, and understanding, this beautiful pair will reward you with their affectionate nature and heartwarming companionship.
If you have a calm household and a lot of heart to share, Charlie and Lola could be the perfect addition to your family. Embrace the journey of helping them unlock their full potential, and you'll soon discover the joy of having these gentle souls snuggling by your side.
From their foster home
Charlie & Lola are not as trusting and relaxed (at this stage) as kittens of their age usually are. I am confident given more time spent with patient person/people this will change as they have come a long way since in our care. Initially hiding and afraid of noise/sudden movements etc. They both now ‘hang out’ with the person/people they feel safe with and seek their company, sitting close (I think they will both be bed/couch cats - always they head for the couch when exploring the main areas of the house) and generally wanting to be with people. They both love to play and actively engage when we play with them. They both enjoy playing with one another and groom each other. Charlie & Lola are most bonded siblings and rely to some degree on one another. Charlie initially seems the more confident of the pair (Charlie currently enjoys more touch pats/brushes than Lola); he is definitely curious but Lola is the one to come first for food and loves to explore - she especially loves the high cat tower. Both kittens discovered they love to sleep in the high cat tower beds soon after they arrived, they both feel safe when nice and high. I do often find them sleeping on the couch too.! These kittens have been a joy to care for and rewarding to see how much confidence they have been gained in a relatively short time. They will bring such joy to whoever is fortunate to welcome them into their lives.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
