Lucy is a sweet, scruffy little lady who was surrendered to our local pound.
We’re not sure about her past though she was petrified when she came into our care.

Lucy is fine with other dogs and cats, she is currently in care with 2 large dogs a small terrier and 2 cats. Lucy does enjoy occasional short play sessions with the other little dog, though mostly enjoys spending her days wandering around the garden and sleeping in the sun.
Lucy definitely isn’t an escape artist, more an opportunist. She does like exploring the yard and if there is a gap in your fence that she can fit though, she will find it!

Lucy was very emotionally shut down when she came to us. It took weeks of encouragement before she would walk through the door to go inside and we are still not able to get her to walk on a lead. Lucy’s new family will need to be patient and able to gently help her build confidence in new situations.

Lucy is great in the car, loves attention and when she is comfortable with you, will politely demand pat’s and ear rubs.
Lucy sleeps inside at night and is happy being outside during the day whilst her foster carer is at work.

Lucy is looking for a quiet home where she can be a part of the family, loved unconditionally and spoilt rotten in her senior years.

Lucy does have arthritis and is having anti inflammatories daily on her food to help keep her comfortable. This will need to be ongoing.
