About Jester - 3yo Cattle Dog X
Jester is a sweet-natured, affectionate, and playful boy who’s looking for his forever home. He’s incredibly people-oriented and thrives on companionship, whether it's going for multiple daily walks, playing fetch with his ball, or curling up for cuddles and kisses.
He’s a great match for an active individual or family who enjoys outdoor adventures and can include him in their daily routine. Jester loves being by your side and is happiest when he’s part of the action. Like most working breeds, Jester needs plenty of mental and physical stimulation to stay happy and balanced.
Fully toilet trained and unfazed by the rain, Jester is also comfortable around birds — he's been living with a rainbow lorikeet and doesn’t mind her flitting about.
A loyal companion, Jester knows basic commands like sit, stay, wait, come, go, and on your bed, and he’s always eager to please.
Ideal Home:
* Secure fencing is a must.
* Best suited as the only pet.
* Great with people and good with kids over 10 years old.
* Would do best with someone who is home often or can take him
along on outings, as he does have a bit of separation anxiety.
* Excellent in the car and loves hanging out at cafés.
Jester at a Glance:
* Friendly, cuddly, and loyal
* Loves walks and walks well on lead
* Best as an only dog
* Toilet trained
* Bird-friendly (untested with other small pets)
* Would thrive with an active owner and someone who’s often
home that can provide him with lots of stimulation
Jester is in foster care in Mayfield, NSW, and is available for adoption within NSW, QLD, VIC and the ACT. His adoption fee is $500. He is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
