About Baxter Snr
PROFILE AND NEEDS IN A HOME
Meet Baxter – Your One-of-a-Kind Gentleman
Baxter is an exceptionally divine companion bursting with energy, joy, and affection. Although he's a senior at nearly 14 years old, Baxter's vibrant personality and zest for life will have you wondering if age is just a number. This playful boy is always up for a good time, whether it's with his beloved squeaky toys, a fun walk (on lead only—he loves exploring everything), or a car ride to anywhere.
When it comes to relaxing, Baxter is just as wonderful. He loves keeping you company, sitting on your lap while you watch TV, and sleeping at the foot of your bed (but will gracefully hop down if asked—he’s remarkably well-behaved). Inside is his favorite place, so Baxter must have access to both the home and garden at all times.
Baxter is great with small dogs and cats, but he's happiest as the only dog in the household, soaking up your undivided attention. He’s best suited for a multi-person household where someone is home most of the time so he can enjoy as many cuddles as possible. Baxter can experience some separation anxiety initially, but with time and settling in, this improves—and his foster carer can provide advice if needed.
Older children would have a lively and loving playmate in Baxter, and he would bring warmth and positivity to an elderly person's life, too. His responsive and cheerful nature makes him loyal, attentive, and great company for all ages.
It's hard to believe Baxter is almost 14. He doesn’t let age hold him back, and neither should you! If you or someone you know is searching for a gentle, loving, energetic good boy, Baxter is your man.
Baxter is ready to bring happiness and affection into your home—are you ready to welcome this incredible gentleman into your life? 🐾💖

Medical notes
Health: Sometimes, Baxter's excitement shows through the shaking of his back legs. This doesn't appear to cause any issues.
Baxter has occasional seizure/tremour episodes, which require his new owner to hold him tight, comfort him, and try to distract him whilst he is having an episode. The cause of these tremors is unknown. It doesn't appear that they are impacting Baxter's life in the long term.
