Toulouse is a character inside and out. Physically unique with his snowy coat and polka dots, ripped muscles and cute little legs contrasted with a handsome Jack Russell face. This guy is a blend of contradictions that somehow work in perfect harmony.

He’s a bundle of joy who thrives on attention and affection. Nothing makes Toulouse happier than being with his humans or snuggling up on your lap for some quality cuddle time. Toulouse also loves to snuggle into his bed and have a good long snooze, preferably after his post breakfast walk and a treat. He’s been known to
happily snore away under the desk at his foster mum’s office for hours or just as happily entertain himself with a toy. He’s generally a quiet guy without much to bark about, but he does have his special little "brrrr yodel" sound he makes when he's extra happy and excited (be warned, it’s a heart melter).

In contrast, Toulouse can be a speedy little pocket rocket with a healthy sense of adventure and loves exploring the world with his people. Toulouse especially enjoys trips in the car or caravan where he’s a perfect travel companion, and is just as well behaved at a holiday house rental or cruising through the weekend at the local
café (all tested with his foster family with glowing results). He’s also well behaved commuting on the train during peak hour with his foster mum.

His key motivators are human affection and food, so if you’re willing to add some time and patience Toulouse will train up nicely. He has already learnt toilet training, and is working on sit, shake hands, recall, stay, off/down, door manners. He will sit and wait for his food (most times ��) until given the release word (OK). He is learning about walking nicely on a lead and curbing his excitement, in which he is making steady progress.

Playing with his foster brothers and sisters and making friends with other dogs is a favourite pastime but he does occasionally demonstrate some traits (jumping, mouthing for attention) that will need further training. His foster family feel that due to his bouncy personality Toulouse will be best suited to a home without small or
non-dog savvy children, and no small pets. He has previously lived with cats and older primary school age children.
