About Alfred
Alfred is a fun and cuddly sweet young pup who happens to look like an aged gentleman.
He has had exposure to kids, cats and dogs while in care and has consistently shown a soft, gentle and snuggly nature. He is always so happy to greet us, is smart and eager to please. He has quickly learnt sit, 'look', not jump up and to lay down and wait patiently for his food.
He loves meeting new friendly dogs and loves to play. He has a typical energy level, and will just as likely be sleeping as he will be playing.
We guess he is a wolfhound cross and that he will grow to be large in size. He came into care with his brother from a rural NSW pound full of worms and fleas.
His new home will allow him to be indoors at night and to truly be a part of their family. They will have had experience previously owning a dog and be open to attending a puppy school and ongoing training.
In the right environment he may suit being an only dog, and may be suitable around older children. Alfred is located in the Newcastle area of NSW and is around 3 months in age; he is ready to meet his new forever fit now!

Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
