While he’s still learning the ropes when it comes to walking on a leash, he's got all the potential to become your perfect walking partner with a little more training and encouragement. Mickey also enjoys car rides; with a touch more practice, he'll be hopping in and out of the car like a pro.

Mickey is well-mannered when it comes to the essentials: he's toilet trained and comfortable sleeping in his crate at night. His love for treats, dental sticks, pig ears, and doggie biscuits makes him highly motivated when it comes to learning new tricks or commands. While Mickey is well-behaved when left outside, he does prefer having some company, and he may get into a little mischief if left alone for too long. That's why he would thrive in a family that can keep him engaged and perhaps offer a furry friend to keep him company.

Mickey is best suited for a home with older children who understand his youthful exuberance, as he can get a bit too excited at times. While Mickey’s heart is full of love, he does prefer a feline-free home, as he hasn't quite made friends with cats yet.
