About Nellie - 9 Week Old Staffy X
Nellie is a 9-week-old Staffy X with a heart as big as her personality! She’s the kind of pup who will bring laughter, love, and a little bit of mischief into your home. With a beautiful brindle coat, soulful eyes, and the most loving nature, she’s ready to find her forever family.
🌟 Nellie’s Personality 🌟
💛 Affectionate & Devoted – Nellie is a true companion dog. She loves being near her humans and will follow you everywhere—yes, even to the bathroom! If you’re looking for a loyal shadow who will always be by your side, she’s your girl.
🎾 Playful & Adventurous – She absolutely loves to play, whether it’s with her foster siblings, her toys, or even just zooming around the yard. She’s confident in new environments, always eager to explore, and isn’t fazed by being on her own when needed.
😴 Nap Queen – Don’t let her playful energy fool you—Nellie knows how to relax. After a big day of exploring and playing, she’ll happily curl up for a well-earned nap, whether it’s in her crate, on a cozy bed, or right next to you on the couch.
🧠 Smart & Adaptable – She’s already learning the ropes of being a well-mannered pup! She’s nailing her toilet training with puppy pads, sleeps through the night in her crate without a fuss, and is quickly picking up on routines.
🐶 Confident & Easygoing – Unlike some puppies, Nellie isn’t overly dependent. She enjoys human company but is also happy to entertain herself when needed. She’s the perfect balance of affectionate and independent!
🐕 What Nellie Needs in a Home 🏡
Nellie would thrive in a home where she gets plenty of love, playtime, and cuddles. She would do great with another friendly dog to play with or as the center of attention in a loving family. Because she’s still a puppy, she’ll need continued training and patience as she grows, but she’s already off to a fantastic start!
If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, and loving companion who will bring joy to your life every single day, Nellie is the perfect match
Nellie will grow up to be a medium dog. You will need at least 5ft solid fencing, with no gaps (rural and mesh fencing will not be accepted). Due to her age, Nellie will need someone home most of the time. She would love to live with people who welcome her inside, and she will need to sleep inside at least until fully grown. Nellie will be a wonderful family dog for those with children above 6 years old, and will need a family committed to teaching her excellent manners (including not jumping). We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life.
Nellie is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW. Her adoption fee is $700, which includes desexing when she is old enough. She is also vaccinated, microchipped, and treated for fleas and worms.
Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when she is 5 to 6 months old.
