About Noah
Noah 🤍
A beautiful boy who doesn’t ask for much at all, and is extremely laid back, with the sweetest teddy bear face 🧸
We are so confident you'll fall in love with Noah we are offering a foster-to-adopt trial to let him live with you, prior to adoption. We just know you'll fall in love with him! ❤️🏡
If you’ve been following us, you may already be familiar with Noah’s story and the challenges he has faced. For most of his life, Noah was used for breeding, we are so proud to say he has truly blossomed in care. Noah has so much love to give to the right person, and he is deserving of a safe, loving home where he can truly thrive. If you fit the following criteria and you want to meet Noah please get in contact with us...
Criteria to Apply 📑
🐶 You must have another friendly dog or two in your home.
🥰 The ideal household would be an adult-only home, with 1-2 people.
🙅♀️ No children in the household.
Noah is a sweet, older gentleman who loves to give affectionate licks and kisses. He’s not particularly concerned with being taken on walks; what matters most to him is simply being in the presence of his person and another friendly dog or two that he can socialize with; he really LOVES other dogs! He enjoys spending his days at his own pace, relaxing and snoozing.
Noah does have some food aggression, so it’s important to feed him separately from other animals in the household. Otherwise, he thoroughly enjoys the company of other animals. He just prefers to not share food 😋
At night, he sleeps comfortably in an XL crate, where he can stretch out and feel safe in his own space. This is where he feels most at ease and prefers to have his own little area for rest.
Despite his past, Noah isn’t bothered by much and maintains a laid-back demeanour. When he’s awake, he enjoys playing with other dogs, including puppies, and he has a gentle and friendly nature towards them.
Noah has some trauma around his collar being grabbed, even gently. This is something that we believe has stemmed from breeders using 'poles' to move dogs around, and this does trigger him. In his foster home, he's done exceptionally well, and for walking he wears a harness. Once he knows you you can also easily pick him up or lure him with food.
Noah is very happy and content outside on a day bed in the warm sun, as well as running around with another dog. He is very happy and content both inside and outside but he needs adequate shelter for the sensitive skin on his nose. There is nothing wrong with his nose. We have sent off a sample for testing and his nose isn't anything to worry about. We do want to see him without lots of shade access.
We would also like to proudly say Noah has come such a long way with toilet training while he's been back in care. He is almost fully toilet trained! Gentle reinforcement in his new home to keep up good habits is all that's needed.
