About Ginger - 5 Year Old Cattle Dog x
Meet Ginger – the stunning 5-year-old Cattle Dog x
Ginger, or "Ginny," is a loyal and loving companion looking for a home where she can live the life she truly deserves.
Ginger is an active dog who thrives on regular exercise and loves to play, but she's also content to relax with you and enjoy quiet moments at home.
Fetch is one of her favourite activities—whether it's a ball or a stick, she's always ready for a game. She adores swimming, and the beach is one of her favourite places; she's always happy to be near the water.
Ginger needs some time to warm up to new men, but once she gets to know you, she is deeply affectionate and loyal.
She is incredibly smart and trainable, knowing lots of commands such as sit, stay, lay, come, wait and going between your leg.
She mostly gets along well with other dogs, especially when they are off-leash and have had time to get acquainted. Ginger has spent time around small children but generally prefers to keep her distance, quietly finding a spot where she can feel comfortable. Because of this, she would be best suited to a household with kids over 12.
Ginger is very anxious about fireworks/thunderstorms, things in the sky (eg. kitesurfers) and can startle quite easily, so she would do best in a calm and quiet home environment. She’s not your cafe dog, she’s your bush walking, beach day, adventure dog!
While Ginger loves being outside, she would also love to be welcomed indoors as part of the family and to sleep inside at night. She is also fully toilet trained.
If you adopt Ginger, you're not just gaining a dog—you're gaining a loyal companion and best friend who will love you unconditionally.
Ginger is in foster care in Newcastle. Her adoption fee is $450, and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
