About Nieve - 4 Month Old Mixed Breed
Hello everyone my name is Nieve. I am a 4- Month-old, female, Terrier mix puppy. My foster mum calls me Supergirl because I am a super sweet playful and confident pup who loves to snuggle by your side once I have finished playing with the resident dog in my foster home. She also says I have the cutest eyes with white eyelashes on one eye and black on the other and she thinks my ears are adorable.
I am a very healthy and happy pup and I am currently living with my foster family and my big doggo foster sister. I am ready to find my very own family who will help me to learn and grow into the best dog I can be. I have been learning lots and meeting new people, I make everyone I meet smile and laugh out loud at my puppy antics. I have almost mastered toilet training and currently use puppy pee pads when I am inside but I will need more practice at getting my aim perfect every time. I happily sleep through the night in my snuggle bed and will go to my bed by myself without complaining.
I will grow up to be a medium sized dog, and I am very smart and a quick learner, I already know that I need to sit and wait for my food and am learning other commands like ‘off’ and ‘leave it’. I walk really well on my lead now too. Training is recommended for my continued socialisation and development and I am ready to go out into the world and explore. I will need a yard, that is safe and secure with enough room for play and zoomies.
Love Nieve
If you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Nieve she would be very happy but if you don't have another dog then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time.
Nieve needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. She will be a wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 6 years and older as she is such a bouncy pup. You need good fencing with no small gaps. She can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
Nieve is in foster care in Rathmines, NSW. Her adoption fee is $700, which includes desexing when she is old enough. She is also vaccinated, microchipped, and treated for fleas and worms. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when she is 5 to 6 months old.
However, after this period Nieve will be available for both local and interstate adoptions.
