Meet Caramel, the delightfully snuggly puppy who will instantly melt your heart. This sweet girl is the ultimate "people dog" who thrives on human companionship. She craves nothing more than to be by your side. Caramel believes she is the ultimate lap dog so prefers to be curled up beside you, radiating her own brand of warmth and love, her love tank is never too full for extra cuddles.

We do not know Caramel's exact breed, best guess at her breed is some sort of Aussie Terrier mix, with something more medium sized in the mix. We do know however that she is sugar and spice and all things nice with a bit of usual energetic puppy mixed in.

Caramel is currently around 12kgs at the moment, and we think she will grow to around 15kgs.

Despite Caramel being only a puppy, she is eager to learn and extraordinarily smart. With boundless playful energy, she's already mastered commands like sit and lay down, and she's making great progress with her patience training—all fueled by her love of food! Training Caramel is a breeze with her food-motivated enthusiasm.

Caramel's toilet training is progressing nicely, and she is now using the doggy door to take herself in and out of the home as needed. Of course, your home will be a new environment for her but with a little help and positive reinforcement, she'll adjust beautifully to her new home environment.

Currently, she shares her home with two small dogs, enjoying endless fun through playtime, tug-o-war, and chase games. Any future canine sibling will need to embrace her playful puppy antics!

Caramel currently also shares her foster home with a dog-friendly cat and has passed the cat test with flying colours. She navigates all interactions with a gentle and amicable attitude, ensuring harmony in a household that includes both dogs and cats.

Caramel excels in both on-leash and off-leash settings. Off-leash, she’s reliable and attentive and always listens when called. During walks, she occasionally displays her terrier tendencies by pulling when her nose catches a whiff of something intriguing, but she balances this with an eagerness to explore her surroundings. If you enjoy long walks and the joy of seeing your pet intrigued by the world around them, Caramel will make an excellent companion.

While Caramel has accomplished a lot, she is still learning to navigate the world and gain confidence at her own pace, however with every day that passes she is gaining more confidence. Caramel will need a loving human who can offer her support in becoming more comfortable with her surroundings during the initial settling in her new home environment. Her potential is boundless, and with a nurturing environment, Caramel is sure to bloom into her full, radiant self.

She thrives in the company of people and believes that everyone she meets has the potential to be a friend. As such she would do exceptionally well with a home where her humans can spend quality time with her and can include her in activities outside of the home when possible.

Like all of our dogs, Caramel must have access inside at all times and be permitted to cuddle on the couch and her preference would be to sleep in the bedroom, not necessarily on the bed.

Her perfect home would understand and appreciate her inquisitive nature and have time for her to explore new surroundings.
