Meet Tex - Energetic, Sweet, and Full of Potential!

Tex is a young, energetic pup with loads of personality and mischief! He's still getting used to new environments and learning to walk on a lead, so he'll need a patient owner who can work with him on building confidence. Short, quiet walks will help him get comfortable before tackling bigger adventures.

Tex is food motivated and eager to learn-he already knows "sit" and is ready to master more cues. He can get a bit jumpy when overwhelmed, so basic training and positive reinforcement will help him stay calm.

Tex would do best in a calm home with structure and routine, ideally with teens or calm older children. He's also open to meeting other dogs and would thrive with a social canine companion to help him learn and feel more confident.

Tex isn't ready for dog parks or off-leash areas just yet, but with the right family, he'll grow into a confident, playful companion.
