About Gin
Introducing our delightful little companion, Gin.
Our sweet petite little Jack Russell boy now seeks his new forever family .
Gin is a small dog with an enormous personality, making him a wonderful addition to any family. He is now eagerly awaiting the opportunity to find his forever home where he can share his love and joy.
Favorite Activities and Interests: Gin has a particular fondness for his little squeaky toy, which he loves to carry around in his mouth wherever he goes. This toy is his constant companion, and he takes great pleasure in its presence. When it comes to walks, Gin is an enthusiastic explorer, enjoying strolls filled with plenty of sniffing and investigating his surroundings. He is also a big fan of cuddles, relishing the warmth and affection that comes with them. Playing with children is another of Gin’s favorite pastimes although can get a little mouthy when overexcited , but he loves the energy and fun they bring. He thrives on interaction with humans, enjoying engaging with both kids and adults alike. Gin is always ready for a pat and a cuddle, making him a social and affectionate pet.
Obedience and Training: Inside the home, Gin is well-mannered and has learned several commands, including how to sit and perform a few other tricks. His obedience makes him a delightful companion who is easy to manage and train. He has been a little cheeky here and there checking out the dining table for any little morsels of food!!! Cheeky fella
Social Skills with Other Animals: Being a small dog, Gin can sometimes feel intimidated by large dogs. This may lead to him being a bit growly or snappy at first. However, with slow and careful introductions, he can become comfortable walking alongside other dogs, provided they are polite and respectful of his space. Due to his initial apprehension around larger dogs, Gin is best suited to being the only dog in the household
. Independence: Gin is an easy-going little guy who is perfectly content to be left alone at home. He can entertain himself in the backyard if you are not around, making him a low-maintenance pet in terms of independence. He can be a little vocal to sounds in the neighbourhood so best to have a doggy door or someone home more often than not
Diet and Nutrition: Gin is fed a high-quality kibble and is quite food-motivated, which can be useful for training and rewarding good behavior.
Hygiene and Grooming:. He is fully toilet trained and has recently had a dental cleaning, leaving him with nice, clean teeth.
Sleeping Arrangements: Gin is quite content sleeping in the laundry and will happily take himself off to bed, where he feels safe and comfortable. He enjoys a bit of a sleepin too
Car Travel: Gin is a good traveler and handles car rides well, making him a great companion for outings and trips.
Exercise Needs: Gin enjoys his regular walks and loves to explore the neighborhood, leaving his “news” along the way. He walks well on a leash, though he may zigzag a bit from time to time. Due to his temperament, dog parks are not ideal for Gin, as he may not cope well with the presence of many dogs running around.
Behavior Inside the Home: Inside the home, Gin is well-behaved and has shown no destructive tendencies. He is a sweet little fellow who is quite happy to curl up next to you, enjoying the comfort of your presence.
Medical History: Gin has undergone surgery to remove a small cyst from his ear, which has now healed. He has also been desexed and had a cracked tooth removed and a full tooth clean , ensuring he is in good health.
Ideal Home: Gin would thrive in a household with children who are dog-savvy and enjoy playing with him in the backyard. A home that provides regular exercise and allows him to be part of the family by letting him inside when people are home would be ideal for Gin. He is ready to bring joy and companionship to a loving family who can appreciate his unique personality and charm. Dog savvy children who can tolerate some mouthy behaviour No apartment living
