About Roxy - 14 Month Old Kelpie (Trial 28/3)
Meet Roxy – The Sweetest Kelpie You’ll Ever Meet!
Roxy is a 14-month-old Kelpie with a heart full of love and a playful spirit. Weighing in at a petite 16 kg, Roxy may be small, but she’s got the energy and charm of a big dog!
Despite her young age, she’s already house-trained, crate-trained, and knows basic commands like sit. Roxy walks well on a lead but can be a little shy around loud noises and strangers — though she warms up quickly once she feels safe.
Roxy is very submissive and gentle, thriving in the company of other dogs. She currently lives with two dogs and got along with them straight away. She hasn’t been tested with cats or kids yet, but her sweet and loving nature suggests she’d adjust well with proper introductions.
While Roxy enjoys playing and chasing toys, what she loves most is cuddling — she’ll happily curl up at your feet or in your arms, especially at bedtime. An active home where she can get daily walks and plenty of attention would suit her perfectly. She would likely thrive with another dog to keep her company.
Roxy had a litter of pups at a young age, which stunted her growth, but it hasn’t slowed her down one bit! She’s eager to please, quick to learn, and always ready for a belly rub — she’ll do just about anything for a pat and some love.
If you’re looking for a loving, loyal companion who will melt into your arms and fill your days with joy, Roxy could be the perfect match. Ready to meet Roxy!
Roxy is in foster care in Singleton, NSW. Her adoption fee is $500. She is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
