About Bumble Bee - BB
Content, calm, quiet and low maintenance were the words that BB’s foster carer used to describe her for a bio.
Bumble Bee is a darling senior soul who stumbled into our care after finding herself on the street and soon became an unclaimed stray.
She was suffering from advanced tooth disease, as well as mammary cancer and sadly had never been desexed by her previous family. It’s possible her veterinary expenses exceeded their owners financial capabilities and this was her reason for ending up on the street.
Bumble Bee was treated to a complete medical overhaul with tooth extractions, scale and polish, mammary mass excision, desexing and vaccination all completed as soon as possible. She was then sent to a loving, calm foster home where she was able to recover in peace and comfort.
BB has repaid her foster parents by being the most well mannered house guest they have had the pleasure of caring for. She spends most of the day snoozing in her crate, venturing out for food, toilet and the occasional cuddle.
BB shares her foster home with three permanent foster siblings and while she accepts them, she would be happy being an only dog, and may even have a preference for that arrangement.
Medical notes
Mammary cancer - removed but potentially could recur in the future
