About 11664 - Maeve
💜🦄 MEET MAEVE 🦄💜
Nature
Hello, I’m Maeve. I’m a very affectionate and easy going older lady, with lovely soft fur. I love a good pat, scratch, and brush, but I also like my own space. I’m happy to just lay around and watch the world go by. I’m okay with being picked up though so I'm happy to have brief cuddles.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I’ve not been around young children or dogs so don’t know how I would go. Older children should be fine if they’re gentle and understand about giving me space when I need it.
I’m not keen on other cats – although I do live with other kitties at the moment. I like to stay away from them, and don’t like them coming close. I don’t fight with them but I do hide. So if you are looking for a solo furry friend in your life I certainly can fit that need!
Likes / Dislikes
I currently have some biscuits to graze on through the day and wet food in the evening. I use my litter tray already so big tick there! ✅
My PURR-fect home would be one where I would get lots of love and attention. I’d like an indoor home because that is safer for me and I’m perfectly fine with that, although access to a fully enclosed/shaded cat run might be pretty pawesome!
Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

It was also discovered that she has a small naso-pharyngeal polyp on her left tonsil. These are benign growths that can sometimes be seen in the back of a cat’s throat, the middle ear, and above the soft palate. This polyp is not currently causing issues however it may grow and require removing at a later stage. She may also develop more polyps in her throat, nose or ears. If she starts to gag, cough or goes off her food please seek veterinary advice.
🐾 Perth Rescue Angels recommends Advantage and Advocate from Elanco Animal Health for all of your new furry family members’ flea and worming needs.
