About Wesley
Hi I’m Wesley a 2 year old male kelpie boarder collie x with a friendly, energetic and happy attitude.
Im a confident boy that loves meeting new people and dogs to make friends with. Im a very active dog that thrives with lots of exercise and play time that then helps me settle nicely at home. I would love if my family was home more often than not or were able to take me with them on occasion.
I have the basic training down pat however i need some work on my recall especially when I’m having fun. I would suit living in a quiet area or rural so I would have less distractions but have been working hard with my foster carer on this and would need someone willing to continue this training. I have been running and walking on lead quite well, am toilet trained and sleep well overnight inside my crate. I like chew toys, and love playing tug a war and fetch.
I’m ready to find my forever home and will need a home with a secure back yard and would manage as an only dog but could work with a doggy friend but a dog on my level or I have been good with small dogs. I’ll need parents that understand my needs, take me lots of walks and continue my training. I am yet to meet any young children and think I would be better suited to teenager age or above. I have met a cat and was curious and managed well, large animals like horses frightened me.
If I sound like the dog for you please fill out the adoption form and apply for me!

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
