About Teddy
Meet Teddy, a sweet-natured boy with an abundance of energy. He was born on 26 July 2023 and currently weighs 27.2 kgs.
Teddy is a loveable dog who thrives on play and interaction with both people and other dogs. His heartwarming nature and strong, energetic spirit make him a wonderful companion for active families who have plenty of space for him to run and explore.
Teddy has fairly good recall and can sit on command so he has had some training, but would benefit from continued education.
He is house-trained and would adapt easily to life with an active family with space and another compatible dog.
When it comes to making friends, Teddy does well with other dogs and even seems okay with cats. However, he would need a home without chickens or livestock, as his lively curiosity might be a bit too much for them. With room to run and explore, Teddy's playful nature will truly shine.
He is a strong and energetic dog and would do best in an experienced home. Prior Boxer experience would be highly regarded.

Dogs:
(1) The first step is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
(2) All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
(3) If the “meet and greet" is successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
(4) For successful interstate applicants, different arrangements may apply and will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
Cats:
If you are interested in one of our cats or kittens, please click on the green "Enquire about ...", button, tell us a bit about yourself and the home you can offer the cat, and one of our volunteers will be in touch.
