Meet Basil: a clever, head-strong, affectionate dog. He is well trained and easily picks up new skills, however requires someone to guide him in the right direction. Basil can be quite cheeky but behaves well when corrected.

Basil is a relaxed dog when at home with you, not interested in fetch or other games, he'd rather just sit nearby. He doesn't demand attention, just proximity.

He loves a walk and would benefit from being with someone who can take him once or twice every day. Basil is great on the lead, walking well by your side. He is excited by other dogs, wanting to greet everyone and say hello.

Basil requires secure fencing as he wants to join you on every car ride, however quickly settles once the car is gone.

Basil would be an excellent dog for someone active and interested in maintaining training for a very clever boy.
