About Carlisle
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND THE MORE CATS WE CAN HELP REHOME***
Carlisle is a very sweet and loving little gentleman who would love to find nice quiet indoor / outdoor home where he could stretch out in the sun during the day then curl up on someone's lap in the evening.
Carlisle's previous owner was a lovely older woman who cared for stray cats that she found in the neighborhood. He was born on her property and she raised him from a kitten. This person got his vet work done, showed him love, gave him plenty of cuddles, but then allowed him to hang out with the other cats, come and go as he pleased and just generally do his own thing.
He has a very sweet, loving and affectionate personality and would often curl up on his owners knee and sleep on the bed with her.
Sadly this lovely older woman passed away recently so Carlisle has been living wild the last few months while family members tried to catch him. They we're eventually successful and were able to bring him to us to be rehomed.
Since arriving in foster care Carlisle has been very scared in his new environment, as to be expected, as has been keeping to himself in a few hiding spots.
Carlisle is going to take some time to adapt to any new household but we are confident that once he has a chance to settle and get to know you his confidence will improve, his beautiful personality will begin to shine through, and you'll find yourself with a smoochy and loving companion on your hands.
Carlisle is approximately 3 years old and has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and is available for adoption right meow.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little fella with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with him.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause please follow the below link.
