All dogs have their favourite things. For some it is walks or toys and for most of them it is food, but for Georgie, his favourite thing is his pack.
Sitting with his whole family in front of the TV makes him the happiest dog in the world. His foster family is two people, two dogs and two cats and if he can spend a few hours getting a cuddle from all of them - that's just perfect. If it's cold, he'll even play a game of cuddle tetris and squeeze into a space where he can share the warmth with plenty of bodies.
Walking is the same. He likes going for a walk, but what he loves most of all is when his foster sisters come along. He is currently living on a farm, and what is better than an evening of sniffing rabbit holes with his mates? Not much, according to Georgie.
He is still a puppy and as you'd expect with a boy who has had an uncertain start to life, he is a bit nervous about a few things, but everyone who has met him is sure he'll conquer his anxiety and grow up to be a fantastic little man. Before he came into care, he hadn't met cats and he loves them now. He was jittery around big dogs too - but try telling him that while he tears around the yard with his big staffy foster sister. He is also learning basic commands and is showing clear progress with his toilet training.
His chewing is still a work-in-progress though and for that reason, his forever family will need to have people with experience training puppies. Puppies grow out of their chewing phase eventually, but he'll need a calm environment to get there. It goes without saying that he'll need to live in a house with another dog, actually even two or three other dogs would suit him well.
Does this sweet little fellow sound right for your family? if so, it's application time.

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped,
wormed, and flea treated. All necessary vetwork such as dentals,
surgery, eye treatment are also carried out. We are no longer heartworm
testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If
a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer free assistance for six weeks for any issues, a lifetime takeback policy with full refund of the adoption fee, and will always be available to offer advice.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
