Pirate Pablo! We can just see him with his eye patch. He is full of energy, playful and usually off exploring, looking for the next adventure. He is curious and fun as all kittens are. Pablo loves cuddles and pats. Sometimes, when ready for a nap, he likes to sit beside his foster carer on the couch for a cuddle.
When Pablo arrived with us he had a trauma to his eye and although we did everything in an endeavour to save his eye, it was too late for it to be saved, therefore, his right eye had to be removed. Did it halt Pirate Pablo in his efforts to be a normal kitten? Not at all and it has not slowed him down either. Pablo is a normal kitten doing everything that normal sighted kittens do. In fact, it has given him a certain individuality and added to his character.
Pablo has a beautiful sweet nature. He is playful, fun and cheeky, quite independent and doesn't rely on the other cats. He loves to play with them, but then is happy sleeping on his own and doing his own thing. He does like to groom the other cats in the house. Pablo can be a little food motivated, especially when his carer is preparing her meals. He is always keen to share your meal.
Pablo has adapted very well with only one eye and does not worry about it at all. His eye has healed well and causes no problems. He must remain indoor only due to the vulnerability for him in the outside world. Pablo would benefit from a forever home having another playful and friendly cat and if there are children, they will be older.
Pablo has a medium/long coat and will require regular trims and grooming. He is litter trained.
If you are ready for an adventurous pirate in your life, lodge an application today.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer free assistance for six weeks for any issues, a lifetime takeback policy with full refund of the adoption fee, and will always be available to offer advice.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
