Since arriving into care, Willy has grown to love cuddles and is now quite a smoochy boy. His people are his whole world. He likes to follow his foster carer around the home and weaves himself in and out of their legs, brushing up against them whenever they are standing. Willy loves a scratch, indeed, full body scratches and cuddles and he likes to cuddle up in bed sometimes. He is not so fond of being picked up, although, he is growing more used to the sensation.
Willy is very intelligent and often looks at his foster carer intently, as if he is trying to understand what they are doing. He doesn't just like to be near them, he wants to be involved. Like a chat? - Willy does! Willy meows to communicate with his human when he wants something and it can start the moment his human steps out of bed (where's breakfast please?) and Willy will happily meow throughout the day to keep you informed of what is going on. Willy loves his treats – he gets quite excitable if you hand feed him a treat.
Overall, Willy is a very clever, inquisitive and active young cat. A beautiful boy, who is just beginning to blossom. He has a lot more love to give and will suit a family who have the time to interact with Willy and who want a cat to become a truly involved member of their family. We feel he will be best suited to a family with older children.
Very friendly with other cats, Willy immediately became friends with his foster carer's cats, therefore, a home with another friendly young cat, will be highly considered.
Willy is litter trained.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer free assistance for six weeks for any issues, a lifetime takeback policy with full refund of the adoption fee, and will always be available to offer advice.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
