About Stanley
Hello there everyone! My name is Stanley and I'm a super handsome pretty much all black kitten with my sporty red collar. I say pretty much all black as I do have a little dash of white under my chin.
I came into care from the RSPCA Wacol with my four siblings. Sadly, three of my sisters were too sick to make it, and they’ve crossed the rainbow bridge. But thanks to the love and dedication of my foster carers, I’ve been given a second chance to
grow into a happy, healthy kitten along with my sister, Sadie.
I’m a super smoochy boy who loves nothing more than curling up on a warm lap, giving big kisses and head rubs. But don’t be fooled - I’ve got plenty of playful energy too! I love zooming around the house, chasing my foster siblings, and finding fun in the simplest things - give me a screwed-up piece of paper and a box, and I’m in
kitten heaven.
I'm looking for a forever home filled with love, patience, and playtime. Could that be with you? If you’re searching for a cuddly, playful, and affectionate companion, I’d love to meet you when the time comes! And maybe you'd consider adopting a friend for me, such as my sister Sadie or one of my foster siblings! Two kittens are so much easier to manage than one!
Have a purrfect day!
Medical notes
Stanley was born with a defective prepuce which is the protective skin surrounding his penis. This resulted in his penis being continually protruded and encouraging other cats to traumatise it.
To correct the problem, Stanley has had a surgical procedure called a perineal urethrostomy performed by The Cat Clinic at Mount Gravatt, where his penis has been removed and the urethra from up inside his pelvis brought out and sutured to his skin. Once healed, there should be very few issues for the rest of his life. The chances of him getting a UTI is way lower than "normal" male cats and, if he does, it is easily treatable with medications rather than needing surgery (as he essentially has already had the surgery that would be required).
