About Pumpkin ( pugkin)
Meet Pumpkin, affectionately known as "Pugkin," a tiny pocket pug with a heart full of love and a spirit eager for adventure. She perfectly balances being the cuddliest companion and the most energetic playmate, making her an ideal addition to any home craving a bit of canine companionship.
Pumpkin's affectionate and social nature means she quickly bonds with her human family while also being wonderful with other dogs and even cats. She's an all-in-one socialite, always ready to make new friends and share the love. Despite her small size, she's full of personality and zest for life.
Pumpkin is toilet trained, offering peace of mind for those looking for a tidy and easy-to-manage pet. Although she has lost most of her teeth, she has an impressive knack for enjoying all her favourite snackies with gusto, so worry not about her appetite!
Once she's burned off that energy, Pumpkin can quickly settle down beside you for some quiet time, whether you're reading, working, or just relaxing. And if you're out for errands or work, she's quite content to nap until you return, ready with wagging croissant tail and a heart full of devotion.
If you're looking for a pint-sized pup with a giant heart, Pumpkin may be your perfect match. With her charming personality, a lifetime of companionship and love awaits any home lucky enough to welcome this delightful little pug into their lives.
Medical notes
She is a brachycephalic breed. All suffer from BOAS in some way, either minor or severe. They are always at risk of boas ( brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome)becoming clinical- creating difficulty breathing. We expect you to have a complete understanding of the condition and discuss the potential surgical, environmental and medical modifications you may have to do for this condition with your vet before you apply for this dog. It is also an excellent idea to take advantage of the trial period to have your vet check over the dog and give you more pointers on this breed related issue and the expectations for their care and management.
Pumpkin had most of her teeth removed during her dental as they were in quite bad shape.
She also has an ear infection she is currently being treated for.
