Bridie – A Little Darling Looking for a permanent place in your heart! ❤️ A bundle of love, energy, and cheeky puppy charm, Bridie is searching for her forever home
🐶 About Bridie:
After a tough start in life, Bridie arrived in care quite timid. But with love and patience, her sweet, sassy personality is starting to shine!
She’s a typical cheeky pup, full of zoomies one moment and snoozing the day away the next. She loves playing with her toys, chasing balls in the backyard, morning kisses and curling up on the couch after a long, hard day of puppy life. She also loves to follow you around the house. When she greets you with a wagging tail, her whole body wobbles!
🐾 Training & Personality:
✔ Crate trained – Sleeps through the night in her foster carer’s bedroom.
✔ Toilet training is 80% there – Fewer accidents each day! Just needs reminders to go outside. She understands to go "pee-pee" for a "treat-eee".
✔ Loves people – Super friendly to everyone she meets.
✔ Knows basic commands – Can sit, stay, and walks well on a lead.
✔ Teething stage – Still learning not to chew shoes, furniture, and fingers but redirects well to chew toys.
🐕 Socialization & Ideal Home:
Bridie is still a little unsure around new dogs (she may bark at first), but with gentle introductions, she warms up and plays nicely. She’d thrive with a patient family willing to continue her socialization and training. And provide her with daily walks.
She has done okay being left alone for short periods (up to 2 hours), but ideally, her new home will have someone around more often and/or a calm, playful dog to learn from.
Bridie would be great with older, dog-savvy kids (5+) but can be bouncy and mouthy due to her teething, so little ones may find her a bit much right now.
🏡 Could Bridie Be Your Perfect Match?
She’s growing fast (those chunky paws suggest she’ll be a big girl!) and will become an amazing companion with the right family.
If you’re looking for a loving, playful pup who will fill your home with joy, Bridie might just be the one for you!
