About Mikey
Meet Mikey, the 5-month old kitten ready to meet you! With his long fur, bushy tail, and unique markings, Mikey is truly one-of-a-kind. He is confident, yet super-chill and has a knack of captivating everyone he meets, making him equally suited to quiet contemplation and playful antics.
Mikey loves to play with his toys, and his sister, showing off his playful personality and graceful energy. After an invigorating play session, he’s happiest when he's curling up on a cozy blanket, ready for a night in front of the tv. His beautiful eyes and soothing purrs make him an ideal companion for a relaxing afternoon or quiet evening.
Mikey can be adopted with his sister, Molly, or by himself. He is desexed, microchipped, and up-to-date with two vaccinations, ready to join a new family that will appreciate both his beauty and his affectionate nature.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
