About Nelly
Meet Nelly… a sweet and delicate toy poodle with a heart as soft as her curly coat. She is a small girl (3.5kg) with a gentle nature, always observing the world with quiet curiosity.
Timid by nature, Nelly takes her time to feel safe in new surroundings, but once she does, she forms an unbreakable bond with the people she trusts and will follow you everywhere!
Preferring the quiet life she will happily curl up beside you, and is very content just to be near.
Nelly is particularly shy around men and would thrive in a peaceful home with a mature lady or a calm couple who can provide her with the patience and reassurance she needs. She finds comfort in routine and really needs a kind, caring environment where she can blossom into the devoted and affectionate companion she longs to be.
Toilet trained and crate trained, Nelly is very a tidy little lady and well suited to apartment or unit life.
Nelly is great with other dogs and cats, though is a bit of soloist and would be happier in a home where she receives all the human love & attention. She’s also an excellent traveller in the car and trots along on the lead. However given her introverted nature, she’s honestly happiest at home with her person!

No known pre-existing conditions.
Nelly is fully vaccinated, desexed and vet-checked.
Nelly does have an underbite (very common in small dogs and specific to some breeds) which doesn’t cause her any issues, pain or require dental treatment. Her teeth have been checked and cleaned recently by the vet.

We are interested in your family situation (who is in your family) their work/study hours, how long the dog would be left alone during a typical week.
What you can offer a dog in terms of activities, outings and training.
If you have other pets - in most cases we look favourably on a home with an existing dog or the possibility of adding another dog at a later stage (the exception would be if the dog being rehomed is not so good with other dogs).
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
