Hello! My name is Tequila, I’m a tiny but mighty little Burmese girl with a heart that is slowly warming up to the world after growing up in a breeding home. I’m enjoying retirement life now, and hope to find my forever home soon. Can that be with you?

Nature
Like a perfectly aged tequila, I take my time to settle in, savoring the quiet comforts of my safe spaces. You’ll often find me tucked away in a cosy hidey hole or perched in the cat tower, watching from a distance as I take everything in.

I’m still learning to be brave, so I don’t venture out much just yet, but in the right home, I know I’ll come out of my shell. If you visit me in my safe spot, I’ll gladly accept gentle pats and will even lift my little bum in the air to show my appreciation. My purrs are soft but sincere, a little promise that with time and patience, I’ll learn to trust even more.

A quiet home is my dream—a place where I can feel safe, take things at my own pace, and slowly grow into the confident little lady I’m meant to be. If you have a kind heart and a gentle touch, I just might be the perfect drop of sweetness for you.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I would like a quiet, mature home with no children. Adults only please!

I must be adopted to a home with another indoor cat to keep me company. If you don’t already have another cat, perhaps you can adopt me with my Burmese friend Roxy, or one of the other cats from our foster home.

I live with a 50kg dog and don’t mind her.

Likes / Dislikes
✅️ I love pats, safe hidey spots and being cuddled.

❌️ I dislike loud noises and sudden movements.

My PURR-fect home would be a quiet, mature home with gentle humans who will give me lots of love and pats. An indoor only home with another cat friend would be perfect for me!

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

Medical notes: Tequila was exposed to Ringworm, a common fungal infection. She did not show any symptoms and was given the all clear by the vet.
