About Nola
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
Nola is quite a funny girl and is a joy to watch with her cute bunny hops and pounces on toys.
She too demands lap time and has taken to resting at her carers feet.
She is slowly realising what a puppy pad should be used for.
Nola has the cutest fluffy feet and soft coat. She is truely scrumptious.
My Ideal Home:
Nola will be suitable for most families and singles.
She is super playful but currently a little mouthy so young children would need to be confident around dogs and willing to redirect any unwanted attention. Very easy to do as Nola is happy chasing balls and toys and is eager to learn. She is starting to realise that when she sits, she gets attention and will be very easy to train. She is already staring to use the puppy pads for the purpose they were intended, i.e. not its chew toys!
What is Known About My Background:
Nola is part of an unintended litter between a pet dog (standard Schnauzer) and a working dog (Kelpie). She has been lovingly cared for and both parents have been observed by Hunter Animal Rescue's Pound Coordinator and found to have lovely friendly confident temperaments.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
Nola plays beautifully with the other pups and is a delight to watch when she plays with them. They all know what the word "No" means so it has been easy to intervene if they play too rough and redirect their attention to individual toys to play with.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
