About Willow
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
Willow is a tender hearted girl who loves everybody and life in general.
She is the most confident of the three housed here and is two weeks older than the others. Despite this age gap she does not play too rough with the littler pups and is a joy to be around.
My Ideal Home:
Willow will thrive in a family who lets her take part in swimming, camping and any activities where her energy can be directed.
She will make a wonderful running buddy and loyal friend.
She is super smart and not too mouthy so young children would be ok so long as they are supervised around her and take part in teaching her good manners as she will get larger quite quickly.
What is Known About My Background:
Willow is part of an unintended litter between a pet dog (standard Schnauzer) and a working dog (Kelpie). She has been lovingly cared for and both parents have been observed by Hunter Animal Rescue's Pound Coordinator and found to have lovely friendly confident temperaments.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
Willow is the most dominant of the three in care here in Murrays Beach. That said she is not pushy, she just lets the two younger dogs know she's boss with a glance and they easily give up their toys to her if she wants them. She is a delight to watch when she plays with them.
