Big and beautiful, meet Benny- our resident handsome gentleman!

Benny embodies everything we adore about Golden Retrievers. He's extra chill, extra cuddly and ADORES his people. We've been told from his foster family that if he's not napping he's following them around from room to room. He's a guy that just wants to come along for the adventure, whatever that is! Once full of energy, Benny now enjoys a cruiser life, one full of couch cuddles and sunbaking to pass the day.

Having never lived with younger children, he's a bit nervous around them and does tend to get spooked easily by their loud noises and quick movements. A quieter home with secondary school aged children or older would be ideal for him. He would also be happy to live with another similar matched dog (energy speaking that is!), one that enjoys a slow stroll around the block rather them zooming around the yard. If you've got a dog or children at home please bring them along to the meet and greet!

A golden boy in his golden years, Benny is starting to show some signs of his old age. He is starting to loose his hearing and vision, which we think will progress slowly over time as he ages. But no need to fret! This is far from holding him back, and Benny is showing no signs of slowing down. If you need any reassurance our staff at The Lost Dogs Home will be happy to chat with you.

Benny is looking for a home where he can relax and soak in aaalllll the love. He might not chase after balls or run at full speed, but he'll be the most loyal companion; giving you his whole heart in return!
