About Deadly Nedley
Meet Deadly Nedley, a charming, laid-back 6-year-old fawn and white American Bulldog who is ready to find his forever home. This gentle giant is looking for a family or a loving individual who enjoys taking life slow and appreciates the simple joys in life. Nedley isn't in a hurry to get anywhere - he's all about taking in the world around him and savoring the moments, whether that means stopping to smell the roses or simply enjoying a peaceful afternoon nap.
Nedley may be a big guy, but his heart is as soft as can be. With an old soul that many of us could learn from, he'll steal your heart with his calm and thoughtful nature. He loves nothing more than lounging around, reflecting on the world, and perhaps even nodding off to a Spotify playlist - a soundtrack to his life, so to speak.
While Nedley is an American Bulldog of high caliber, he does have some typical breed traits, like snoring and some skin issues that require a bit of attention. But don't let that fool you - this boy is well-cared-for, and he's ready to offer his loyalty and love to a family who will appreciate his slower pace and kind soul.
Nedley is social with other dogs, especially those who share his mellow, more "retired" vibe. He's content to watch the younger, bouncy pups play from a distance, but he's not interested in joining the high-energy antics. Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
