About Siren
Meet Siren, a charming 2 and 1/2-year-old grey and white domestic short-haired beauty who is ready to captivate you with her sweet song and irresistible charm!
This playful and affectionate girl is the perfect companion for anyone seeking a loving and well-rounded feline friend.
Having lived harmoniously with both dogs and other cats, Siren adapts well to different environments and would fit into a variety of households-whether you're looking for a gentle companion or a playful buddy.
Siren is a true people pleaser, always eager to be near you and soak up all the attention you can give her. Her affectionate nature makes her an ideal choice for families, singles, or even those with a busy lifestyle. She's not just looking for a home-she's searching for a loving partner who will indulge her with affection and, of course, plenty of playtime.
Though Siren would be thrilled to join you in a cozy home, she also has the heart of an adventurer. With her namesake calling to her, she might even be the perfect fit for a pirate's life at sea, exploring uncharted waters! But whether you're on land or sea, Siren is sure to bring joy and love into your life. Ready to have this enchanting girl serenade you? Come meet Siren today and let her make your home her new favorite place!
Please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au to book a meet and greet with Siren. Due to the high volume of emails received, Inquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
