Meet Jethro, a confident, playful, and loving 7-month-old Kelpie cross who’s thriving in his new environment!
This little guy has grown into a well-mannered pup who’s learning to wait patiently for his meals—he won’t eat until he gets a little pat on the head first. He’s also becoming much gentler when being hand-fed and is eager to please, making him a fast learner.
Jethro is the perfect walking and running buddy, showing great potential as an active companion. He has gained a lot of confidence on his walks and he walks the best on a halti, he is loving his outdoor adventures now. His Kelpie energy means he’s going to be an amazing running partner once he’s fully settled in.
Playtime has become one of his favorite activities, especially with his foster sister! He’s also learning how to entertain himself with toys, though he’s still going through his “puppy chew era,” with plants and shoes as his favorite targets. He can be a bit nippy with hands and feet when over excited.
Though still figuring out boundaries, Jethro is a friendly pup who gets along well with other dogs and even cats, making him a great fit for a multi-pet household. He’s crate trained and seems to be house trained, though he’s still getting used to longer indoor periods.
Jethro is a chill pup when left alone, but like many puppies, he needs plenty of things to keep him busy and entertained. He’s growing into a fantastic companion for an active person or family who can continue his training while providing him with a loving, safe environment.
If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, and eager-to-please pup with tons of potential, Jethro might just be the perfect fit for you!
Jethro is $350 to adopt and comes desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated, heartworm tested (negative), and given flea/tick/worm prevention.
