Mae is a loving mumma cat who arrived into care with her tiny kittens. She proved to be an exceptional mother, even though she is still very young herself, doting on her four kittens with great care. Now that her kittens have grown up and found their own homes, it’s Mae’s turn to find a loving family to call her own.

Mae is a sweet girl with a lot of love to give. After enduring a rough start in life, Mae has grown to adore the comforts of indoor living. She revels in the luxury of soft blankets, gleefully rolling around and burying her head in fluffy pillows, taking immense pleasure in how they feel against her body.

Mae can be a bit reserved around new faces however, with a bit of gentle encouragement and the temptation of a creamy treat or two, you'll quickly become the best of friends!

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Mae currently resides in a home with older children and adults.

While she hasn't been introduced to the resident cats and dog yet, she shows a keen curiosity and eagerness to meet them and potentially become friends. With a slow, careful introduction Mae should happily settle into a home with pets.

Likes / Dislikes
Mae LOVES her food – perhaps a little bit too much! She loves her wet food in the morning and evening, and she has access to biscuits around the clock. If you want to win Mae’s heart, food is definitely the key!

She also adores soft blankets to roll around in and plenty of toys. She particularly enjoys mouse-shaped toys, dangly wands and climbing the cat tower.

Mae is easily frightened by loud, sudden noises. She isn't particularly fond of being picked up either.

Due to her pale facial features, it's best to keep her indoors to avoid skin cancer. Alternatively, a shaded cat run would be an amazing place for her to play.

My PURR-fect home would be one where I receive lots of patience to allow me to come out of my shell. It would have plenty of toys, someone to play with, a climbing tower, and special treats from time to time. A friendly feline companion would be wonderful to help me settle, but it's not essential.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
