About Alex and Scarlett - 9 Week Old Domestic Shorthairs
These two adorable and very friendly kittens, Alex and Scarlett, have had a tough start in life, but they’re now ready to find a home filled with love and warmth. Despite their rocky beginning, they are full of life, playful energy, and an endless supply of joy. Alex is the stunning ginger, and the beautiful tortie is Scarlett.
Curious and adventurous, Alex and Scarlett love investigating their surroundings, turning every moment into an exciting discovery. They are toilet trained, affectionate, and happiest when they’re by your side, whether it’s curling up for a cuddle or following you around, eager to be part of your world.
They would suit a single person, a couple, or a family looking for loving companions to share their lives with. While they would love to stay together, they can be adopted separately if the right homes are found. Either way, they will bring warmth, laughter, and unconditional love to their new family.

Alex and Scarlett are in care in Adamstown Heights, NSW. Their adoption fee is $250 each, which includes desexing, their 1st vaccination, microchipping, and being treated for fleas and worms. Since they are not yet desexed, they are only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. They will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing.

We’re so excited you’re considering giving a rescue cat a loving home! Here’s our step-by-step adoption process:
1️⃣ Fill Out Our Adoption Questionnaire
Start by completing our online questionnaire here:

2️⃣ Home Check
If your application is approved, we’ll arrange a quick home check to ensure a safe and suitable environment for your future pet.
3️⃣ Meet & Greet
Once the home check is complete, you’ll get to meet your potential new family member—usually at the foster carer’s home.
4️⃣ Final Steps: Adoption & Trial Period
If it’s a perfect match, you’ll complete the adoption, make the payment, and start your two-week trial period to ensure the best fit for everyone!
