Calm & Easygoing: Asterius has a relaxed, gentle nature and effortlessly adapts to her surroundings. She has a perfect balance of playfulness and relaxation, knowing when it's time for fun and when to settle down.

People-Friendly: She adores everyone—men, women, children (tested with ages 1-12), and the elderly. She is incredibly gentle, affectionate, and always eager to share her love.

Dog-Friendly: Asterius gets along well with other dogs but can be timid around more dominant personalities.

Highly Intelligent: Asterius has quickly learned commands like sit, shake, down, no, on your bed, come, and stay. She even sits patiently before meals and won’t eat until given the command “ok.” She picks up new skills with ease and is eager to learn more!

Exceptionally Quiet: Asterius is not a barker—she has only barked a handful of times in the past three months, always in response to something unusual. Often she glides through the house so silently, you sometimes don’t even notice she’s there!

Perfect on the Lead: Asterius walks beautifully by your side, her tail wagging with happiness every step of the way. Since coming into foster care, she has also learned recall and with practice, would thrive in off-leash areas as she loves playing with other dogs.

Toilet Trained & Well-Mannered: Asterius is fully toilet trained and will patiently wait by the door when she needs to go outside. She also has no destructive behaviours or separation anxiety—just a calm, happy and well-adjusted pup.

Her Ideal Home

Asterius would thrive in a loving home where she is truly part of the family. She needs a home where she will sleep inside and be included in daily life—not just as a pet, but as a cherished companion. She requires daily walks and would love an active family that enjoys adventures. She’s especially fond of the beach, so a home near water would be a dream!

While Asterius is fine being left alone during work hours, she would love a backyard to stretch her legs between walks. Her foster carers would keep her if they could, she is truly the perfect dog.
