🐕 Meet Finn! 🐕
🐾 Personality:
Finn is a fun-loving, affectionate boy who’s equal parts goofy and sweet. His favourite game is fetch-with-a-twist—he’ll run to get his rope toy, then race past you in a playful “catch me if you can” parade. He’s a real cuddle bunny at heart and loves nothing more than snuggling in for pats (with kisses included!). He’s been around children 6+ years old and has been great with them. Finn has a big personality and a great sense of humour—he’ll even remind you it’s dinnertime by standing in front of you with a cheeky expression when it gets dark. While he can be a bit jumpy with excitement, he’s learning his manners and responds well to calm redirection. He’s still gaining confidence but with kindness and consistency, he continues to blossom.
🎓 Training:
Finn is very food-motivated and eager to please, which makes training a breeze. He knows how to sit, stay/wait (with a hand signal), and is learning not to jump when excited. He’s done some lead training with a professional and is improving every day. Finn will benefit from a calm environment and continued positive reinforcement. He communicates clearly when he wants to play, often with hilarious glances between you and his favourite toy.
🏠 Perfect Home:
Finn will do best with someone who can provide structure, reassurance, and consistent routine. A quieter home, with dog-savvy kids & calm adults, would suit him well. He would love a home where play, cuddles, and quirky routines are part of daily life. Finn is a loyal, clever companion who’s looking for someone to continue his training and help him grow into the best version of himself.
Love & licks,
Finn 🐶💛🐾
Medical notes
Finn does take anti anxiety meds while he settles into foster care, training & routine. He can still cower sometimes when you lift your hand to pat him.
