About King Julian
👑 Meet King Julian! 👑
📍 Location: Merrylands, Sydney
Name: King Julian
Estimated Age: ~ 17 November 2024
Microchip No.: 991003003085304
Gender: Male
Colour: Ginger
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
King Julian may be small, but he’s got a BIG personality! This little mischief maker came from a hoarding situation, arriving emaciated, covered in fleas, and battling ringworm, but look at him now! He’s thriving, full of energy, and looking better than ever.
With classic ginger energy, King Julian is always on the go — zooming around the house, chasing toys, exploring every nook and cranny, and generally causing delightful chaos. He absolutely loves to play and will keep you entertained 24/7 with his antics. When he's not busy being a little whirlwind, he’s curled up for cuddles and a well-earned nap.
King Julian would do well as an only cat soaking up all the love, or in a home with a dog companion. He’d also be fine with an older, confident cat who can show him the ropes, or even with kids 7+ who want a playful and affectionate buddy.
He does have a sensitive stomach, so he needs to be on a wet food only diet — either raw or grain free — and should be fed separately if there are other pets in the home. He cannot have dry food.
If you’re looking for a cat who will bring excitement, affection, and endless fun into your life, King Julian is your guy! 🎉🐾

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
