About Whirrakee
Whirakee is a stunningly gorgeous medium-haired tabby with a heart as sweet as her markings.
This little beauty is not only confident but also incredibly affectionate. She's a smoochy girl who loves nothing more than rubbing around your legs, happily accepting all the pats and attention you can offer.
Her playful personality and eagerness to please make her the perfect companion for anyone looking for a loving feline friend.
Whirakee is a perfect match for an inclusive family who is ready to welcome a furry shadow into their lives. She would be wonderful with children and enjoys being a part of the action, so if you're looking for a cat who will happily follow you around and keep you company, she's the one for you.
She may also be confident enough to possibly live with a calm, social dog who respects her space. Whirakee thrives on love, attention, and being the center of your world - and in return, she'll shower you with all the affection she has to give.
Whirakee is waiting for her forever home - could it be with you? 🐾💕

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
