Nature
When Luther came into care he was in quite a state, having lived on the streets he was looking pretty rough with very sore burnt paws. With some much needed TLC, Luther has blossomed into the most handsome, loving boy. He is the perfect house cat and will follow you around, watching what you are doing and will take any chance he can get for a chin scratch. He has the softest fur which makes patting him irresistible.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Luther lives with a calm eight year old boy who he gets a long well with so older children who will respect his space while he settles in to his new home would be ideal.

Luther loves cats, he gets along well with all of the other felines in the home, so another cat companion is important for him.

It took Luther some time to get use to the dog in the home, although he is a polite dog who respected his space, Luther did let him know that he scared him, however he is very comfortable with him now. With a very slow introduction to a cat-savy, patient dog, Luther should get along with another dog in his new home.

Likes / Dislikes
Luther loves attention, he will run straight to you for pats any time he’s invited. He loves food and treats, this is definitely the way to his heart.

Luther doesn’t like to be confined and will occasionally let you know if he feels cornered by giving a little hiss, although this is becoming less and less.

My PURR-fect home would be a loving family with older children that understand how far I have come and will give me some time to settle into my new home. Once I have settled in, I’m sure to be the smoochiest family companion. I would absolutely love another feline friend for company.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
