Meet Sweetpea - a gentle soul looking for a patient and understanding adopter to help her feel at home.
Sweetpea came into care a bit scared, but she's warming up more each day, showing her true sweetness. She would love to have a patient family who can understand that she may be a bit timid when settling into a new environments - so it's important she gets the time and space she needs to adjust before she shows her true, affectionate self.

She is becoming more smoochy and affectionate as she gains confidence, and LOVES gentle touches, cheek scratches, and is absolutely thrilled by tasty treats like chicken and yummy cat snacks. She also enjoys playing with her toys and will happily engage in some fun when she's feeling comfortable.

Sweetpea would thrive in a home with teens or older children who can read basic cat body language and know when to give her space.
This sweet girl may also do well with another feline friend in the home to help her gain confidence, as long as a slo introduction is given.
