Little Kimchi is well loved within the SODR community, everyone that meets her adores her sweet personality, occasional sass and most of all, the way she stares lovingly into your eyes.
She is the perfect little companion and will toddle around after you all over the house. The only time you won’t find her within a one metre radius is when it’s a nice warm day and she takes herself off to sun bake in the garden.
Kimchi is dog friendly but does not like dogs running near her and will tell them as much if they get too close. She likes to be the boss and has most dogs wrapped around her small paws as she is not backwards in coming forwards when she needs to be. She doesn’t love sharing her toys, which is the only reason we feel she would be happiest as the only dog in the house.
She is expertly crate trained and is great in the house. Given her recent surgery and small stature, she would do best in a home with steps/ramps to assist with climbing on and off furniture.
Kimchi loves affection and will playfully nibble on your hands while you are giving her a pat. Her little tail whizzes so fast when she sees humans that she almost takes off of the ground (see video!). When she’s in a really playful mood, she will step on your foot and paw at your hand, its pretty damn cute if you ask me!
Given her size, she would do best in a home with children over 12 that will handle her with care. Please read her medical notes before applying.

Medical notes
Whilst in care, Kimchi was diagnosed with luxating patellas. Her left knee was only a grade 1 however her right knee was a grade 3.
Given her young age and estimated long life expectancy being a small breed, her right knee was operated on (Tibial Crest Transposition) and she is currently almost 8 weeks post op and just off the crate rest phase.
The surgery went well and the vet is happy with her progress however she will need continued structured daily walks and is not to be jumping on and off furniture at all to ensure her knees remain stable throughout her life.
