About Rowdy
Hi there! My name is Rowdy, and I am a fun loving and friendly 2-year-old blue kelpie x boy.
A happy chap, I love to run and swim, and I adore playing with doggy friends. But really, people and cuddles are my absolute favourite! I have even been learning to play fetch with my foster family.
After all that activity, I sleep well through the night (currently in an outside kennel). I have great recall and respond well to commands, but I do need to work a little more on my ‘walking on lead’ skills. With a little more work, I may just be the perfect companion!
I am looking for a home where I will get the exercise and mental stimulation that is so essential to prevent my active mind becoming bored. Ideally, this would be on a farm or rural / semi-rural property. I’m not interested in jumping fences at my foster home, but an enclosed area or house fencing will ensure my safety when you are not around. While I have not met kids or cats while in foster care, I have loved everyone I have met and am fine with the resident chickens.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
