About Cha Cha
Introducing Cha Cha!
Cha Cha is a Jack Russell Terrier born 8 June 2024.
Cha Cha is desperate for her new people to come and meet her, she just wants and needs people to be around her. She has shown some signs of anxiety, but we understand she has come from a loving home and being in the kennels is not what she is used to.
Cha Cha tested quite well with other friendly dogs, she felt a little intimidated when meeting a large dog. We believe he would be suitable to live with another dog, or be a spoilt "only child". If you have a friendly dog at home we will need to do a meet & greet with them to ensure they get along before going home.
Cha Cha was unfazed when meeting the cats at the facility. We feel that he could be suitable to live with cats, if given a slow & controlled introduction to them. We have been told that Cha Cha did live with a cat in her previous home.
Cha Cha is only 9 months so has so much to learn about the world and would love to be in a home where she is included as a member of the family. Cha Cha will thrive in an environment that guides her with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
Cha Cha has shown no food aggression since being at the facility.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
